AI Manager is your in-app AI assistant. It's there to answer questions about your music career, not just give generic advice off the internet.

Quick answer

AI Manager is a chat-based assistant that lives in a drawer on every page and on its own full-screen workspace. You can type or talk to it. With your permission it can read your profile, releases, analytics and wallet, then give you tailored answers, suggestions and the occasional clickable card that jumps you straight to the right page. It remembers facts you explicitly ask it to remember, and it forgets the ones you tell it to forget.

What you can use AI Manager for

Think of AI Manager as a manager-on-call who already knows your catalogue. Common things artists use it for:

  • Releases: "What's the status of my latest single?", "Do I still need to add contributors to Title?", "Why was Title sent back to me?"

  • Analytics: "How did Title do last week?", "Which country is growing the fastest for me?", "Is this month better or worse than last month?"

  • Wallet: "How much of my balance is payable right now?", "When does my pending money usually clear?"

  • Career sparring: "What genre tag fits a track like this?", "Ideas for my next single's rollout?", "How do I grow my fanbase on a small budget?"

  • Navigation help: "Take me to my royalty splits", "Open the page where I set up payouts" — AI Manager will show a confirm card and only navigate once you tap it.

If a question is purely creative — lyrics, song ideas, genre research — AI Manager can help even without access to your account data. The personalised answers only kick in once you've shared the relevant data category with it.

Two ways to talk to it

  • Text mode is the default. Type a question, hit send, watch the reply stream in. Suggestion chips under the message often give you a useful follow-up in one tap.

  • Voice mode turns AI Manager into a hands-free conversation partner. Tap the microphone in the composer to switch on, tap again to leave. You'll see an animated orb while it's listening or speaking. Voice mode is great while you're driving, doing dishes, or just thinking out loud.

You can switch between text and voice mid-chat. Your conversation stays the same.

Cards, not just text

AI Manager replies aren't always plain paragraphs. When the answer is about a specific number, release, or action, it sends back a card instead:

  • A stat card for a single metric (e.g. "Streams last 7 days: 12,431").

  • A release card for a specific release, with cover art, status and a tap-to-open link.

  • Action chips under a message — small pills that take you straight to a relevant page or run a follow-up question.

  • A navigation confirm card when AI Manager wants to send you to a page; nothing happens until you tap it.

  • A memory review card when AI Manager is about to remember a new fact about you — you confirm or decline.

Cards keep answers scannable and let you go from "I have a question" to "I'm on the right page" in two taps.

Sessions and history

Every AI Manager conversation is a session. You can start a fresh one at any time from the header in the chat view. The drawer also offers to Continue last chat if you were chatting recently — useful for picking up a release-prep conversation the next morning. Sessions older than a day won't pop back up automatically; you can still find them in the chat history.

Privacy in one paragraph

AI Manager only sees what you let it see. There's a master switch (Enable personalization) and five per-category switches: Profile, Releases, Analytics, Wallet and Memory. Toggle any of them off and AI Manager instantly stops reading that category. Your data stays inside Collabhouse — it is not sold or shared. Article 7.2 covers personalization in detail.

Common problems

  • "AI personalization required" — your master switch is off. Open Settings → AI Personalization and turn it on. See article 7.2.

  • Locked behind an upgrade prompt — AI Manager is included on certain plans only. See article 7.4.

  • AI Manager says it can't see something — the matching category toggle is off. Flip it on in AI Personalization.

  • Voice mode is stuck on "Connecting…" — check your microphone permissions in the browser, then start a new chat. If it still hangs, leave voice mode and use text.
