Personalization is what turns AI Manager from a generic chatbot into something that knows you. This article walks through the settings page, what each toggle changes, and how AI Manager's memory works.
Quick answer
Open Settings → AI Personalization. Turn on Enable personalization, then turn on the specific data categories you want AI Manager to use: Profile, Releases, Analytics, Wallet and Memory. You can flip any of them off again at any time, and you can review every time AI Manager has looked at your data in the Access History panel.
Step-by-step
From any page, open Settings, then AI Personalization (or use AI Manager's Open settings link when it tells you personalization is required).
Flip Enable personalization on. This is the master switch — when it's off, AI Manager falls back to general music knowledge only and can't reference anything about you.
Decide what AI Manager is allowed to see by toggling the five data categories:
Profile — your artist name, genre and bio.
Releases — your releases and their status.
Analytics — streaming and performance numbers.
Wallet — your balance and payout setup.
Memory — facts you've explicitly asked AI Manager to remember.
(Optional) Tap Reset AI Context if you want AI Manager to refetch everything from scratch — useful after a big change to your profile, a new release, or any time answers feel stale.
(Optional) Scroll down to Access History to see when AI Manager last looked at each data category.
That's it. Changes take effect on AI Manager's next reply — you don't need to restart the chat.
What each toggle changes
The five categories are independent. If only Releases is on, AI Manager can answer "what's the status of my latest single?" but will tell you it can't look at your analytics. Toggle the right category back on and the answer is one message away.
Profile lets AI Manager refer to you by name and tailor advice to your genre.
Releases lets AI Manager check release statuses, find a specific title, and tell you what still needs your attention.
Analytics lets AI Manager read your streaming numbers, audience and trends.
Wallet lets AI Manager read your pending and payable balance and remind you whether payouts are set up.
Memory lets AI Manager remember and recall facts that you explicitly ask it to remember (see below).
How AI Manager's memory works
Memory is intentionally tight-lipped, because nothing is more annoying than an assistant that "remembers" things you didn't mean to share.
AI Manager only writes a memory fact when you explicitly ask it to. Phrases like "remember that…", "please keep in mind…" or "save that I…" will prompt a small memory review card in the chat. You confirm before it's saved.
AI Manager does not auto-extract facts from your conversation. If you mention something in passing and don't ask it to remember, it won't.
Each saved fact is short (a single short sentence) and falls into one of a few categories — your preferences, your goals, ongoing context, or who you are.
There's a soft cap of around 50 facts. If you hit the cap, delete the ones you don't need anymore.
When you delete a fact, it's really gone — no soft-delete, no archive.
You can review every fact AI Manager is keeping for you from the memory page accessible via AI Manager's settings link. From there you can also turn the Memory toggle off entirely; AI Manager will stop reading and writing facts immediately.
The Access History panel
Below the toggles you'll see Access History — a rolling list of the most recent times AI Manager read your data, with the category it looked at and the time it happened. Use it as a sanity check: if you ever wonder "did AI Manager actually look at my wallet just now?", the answer is on this panel.
Why personalization matters
Without personalization, AI Manager is a friendly assistant with no context — it can only answer general questions about music, releases or marketing the same way a search engine would. With personalization on, the same question gives you an answer grounded in your releases, your numbers and your situation. It's the difference between "here's how qualified plays usually work" and "your qualified-play rate this month is 71 % — that's right in the healthy range."
Common problems
"AI personalization required" banner — the master toggle is off. Flip it on at the top of the settings page.
AI Manager says it can't see my wallet — the Wallet category toggle is off. Flip it on; no need to restart the chat.
AI Manager keeps giving outdated information — tap Reset AI Context; it'll refetch fresh data on the next reply.
AI Manager remembered something I didn't want it to — open the AI Manager memory page from settings and delete the fact. It's removed permanently.
AI Manager won't remember something I asked it to remember — make sure the Memory category is on, and confirm the memory review card when it appears.
