How do I set up my artist profile and make it public?

This covers filling in your profile, what's visible to fans, and how to flip the switch that makes your public artist page live.

For: New (NA) and releasing (RA) artists who want fans, collaborators, or labels to find them You'll need: A profile photo, a header image, a short bio, and links to your social accounts Time: 10 minutes

This covers filling in your profile, what's visible to fans, and how to flip the switch that makes your public artist page live.

Quick answer

Open your Profile from the top right corner, switch to Edit mode, and fill in your avatar, header, bio, location, genre, and social links. Each section opens in a drawer when you tap it. Once you're happy, publish your artist page so people outside Collabhouse can see it.

Step-by-step

  1. Go to Profile from the sidebar. Your own profile opens in Edit mode by default.

  2. Add your avatar. Tap the circular profile image and pick a square photo. Max size 5 MB. JPEG or PNG.

  3. Add a header image. Tap the banner at the top and upload a wide image. Max size 10 MB.

  4. Edit your bio. Tap the bio block. Keep it short — a few sentences about who you are and what you make.

  5. Edit details. Add your artist name, city, country, and one or more genres. These show under your name on every public surface.

  6. Add your links. Open the links drawer and paste your Spotify, Apple Music, Instagram, TikTok, and other social URLs. Each platform gets its own icon on your public page.

  7. Add music. Pin the tracks or releases you most want fans to hear first.

  8. Switch to Preview mode to see what your profile looks like to other people before publishing.

  9. To publish your shareable artist page, open Manage page for that artist profile and turn publishing on. Your page is then reachable at your username URL.

Why it works this way

Collabhouse keeps two layers of profile information apart. The fields you fill in here — bio, photo, genre, location, links — are what fans, collaborators, and labels see. Anything sensitive (your email, your goals, your settings) stays private and never appears on your public page. See article 1.4 for the full breakdown.

Common problems

  • Image upload fails — confirm the file is an image and under the size limit (5 MB avatar / 10 MB header).

  • My profile doesn't show up when people search my name — your public artist page needs to be published from Manage page. Until then it's only visible to you.

  • A field saved but I don't see it on Preview — refresh the page; Preview pulls from the saved profile.

  • I want my profile private — turn publishing off from Manage page. Your in-app profile stays usable; the public URL just stops working for visitors. See article 11.3.

  • The Manage page option isn't there — [TODO: confirm with product the exact entry point from Profile to Manage page for non-label users.]
