For: Anyone with an active or trial subscription (NA, RA, EA, LM) You'll need: Access to the account that owns the subscription Time: 3–5 minutes
Quick answer
To change plans, open the in-app Subscription page and pick the new plan — the change applies immediately and billing is prorated. To cancel, tap Manage subscription and follow the link to the billing portal, where you can cancel renewal. Your features stay active until the end of your current billing period.
Step-by-step: upgrading
Open the Subscription page.
Pick Monthly or Yearly at the top — yearly is cheaper per month.
Find the plan you want and tap Choose plan.
Complete the checkout in the secure window that opens.
When you return, the new plan is active. Refresh the page if any features still look locked.
Step-by-step: downgrading
Open the Subscription page.
Tap the lower plan you want to switch to and confirm.
Your new plan takes effect at the start of your next billing period — until then, you keep everything you already paid for.
If you don't see a "downgrade" button on a specific plan, use Manage subscription to open the billing portal and change the plan there.
Step-by-step: cancelling
Open the Subscription page.
Tap Manage subscription. This opens the billing portal in a new window.
Choose Cancel subscription and confirm.
You'll keep access to your paid features until the end of the period you've already paid for.
After cancellation, we may email you a short feedback link. Sharing your reason genuinely helps us improve — but it's optional.
Why it works this way
Billing is handled by our payments partner so your card details never sit on Collabhouse servers. That's also why Manage subscription opens an external window — it's the same portal you'd use to update your card, download invoices, or pause your plan.
Upgrades take effect immediately because you usually want the new feature now. Downgrades wait for the next billing cycle so you don't lose what you've already paid for.
Common problems
"Subscription package not available" — Our pricing data didn't load. Refresh the page and try again. If it persists, check your network or try a different browser.
I cancelled but I'm still being charged — Make sure you cancelled in the billing portal (step 2 above), not just closed the page. Open Subscription again — the status near the top should say "Cancels on <date>".
The Manage subscription button doesn't appear — That button only shows when you have an active paid plan. Free accounts manage subscriptions by picking a plan on the Subscription page.
I want to pause, not cancel — The billing portal may offer a pause option depending on your plan. Check there before cancelling outright.
My team is on a label plan and I can't manage it — Only the account that originally set up the subscription can manage it. Ask your team owner.
