What are contests and how do I enter?

From time to time we run contests with partners — DJ slots, release campaigns, gear giveaways, festival bookings, and more. Each contest has its own page, its own prize, and its own rules. They're always time-limited.

For: Any artist (NA, RA) who's seen a contest page or campaign banner You'll need: A valid email address; specific contests may ask for an active subscription, a finished track, or a submission file Time: 2–10 minutes depending on the contest

Quick answer

If you've landed on a contest page (usually through an email, a banner inside Collabhouse, or a partner's social post), the entry form is right there on the page. Read the What you win and Terms & conditions sections, fill in the form, and submit. You'll get a confirmation email; keep it as proof of entry.

Step-by-step

  1. Open the contest page from the link or banner that brought you here.

  2. Read the headline, the What you win list, and any disclaimer text (often: travel and accommodation not included, one entry per person, age restrictions, region restrictions).

  3. Check the deadline — contests close on a fixed date, and late entries aren't accepted.

  4. Fill in the entry form. Most contests just need your email; some ask for a track upload, a submission file (e.g. a DJ mix), or a short pitch.

  5. Click the submit button (label varies: Get Your Invite, Enter, Submit, etc.).

  6. Watch for a confirmation message on screen and a confirmation email in your inbox. If the email doesn't arrive, check spam, then try again with the same address.

  7. If the contest involves a separate submission (audio, video, document), follow the Submission Guidelines PDF or link on the page — that's where the technical requirements live.

Why it works this way

Contests are run as campaigns with a fixed start, fixed end, and fixed prize pool. We can't extend a deadline once it's passed, and we can't accept entries through channels not listed on the contest page — that keeps things fair for everyone who entered on time.

Eligibility rules vary. Some contests are open to anyone with an email. Others are limited to active subscribers, to founding members, or to artists from a specific region. The contest page always lists the rules in full — read them before you enter so you don't get disqualified on a technicality.

Common problems

  • "This email has already been registered" — you've already entered. One entry per person.

  • Confirmation email didn't arrive — check spam first. If still missing, try again with the same email; if the system says you're already registered, your entry went through the first time.

  • I missed the deadline — entries close at the time listed. We can't reopen a closed contest, but the next one is usually around the corner.

  • My submission file was rejected — check the Submission Guidelines PDF for required format, length, and any naming conventions.
