What are Opportunities and how do I apply?

Opportunities are real-world chances we line up with labels, festivals, brands, and remix briefs. You'll find label deals, remix competitions, events, sync briefs, and more — each one open for a limited time.

For: Releasing artists (RA), new artists (NA), and label managers (LM) You'll need: A Collabhouse account on a plan that includes Opportunities, plus a finished track if the brief asks for a submission Time: 5–15 minutes per application

Quick answer

Open Opportunities in the side menu, browse the cards, and click any opportunity to see the full brief and rewards. If you want in, click Apply. Some briefs open a short submission drawer where you pick a track you've already uploaded; others send you to the partner's own site to apply there. Submit before the deadline shown at the top of the card.

Step-by-step

  1. Open Opportunities from the side menu.

  2. Use the category tabs at the top to filter by Label, Remix competition, Event, Sync, or Other. You can also search by keyword.

  3. Click an opportunity card to open the full brief. Check the Deadline, Rewards, Requirements, and (where shown) the reference track or original song.

  4. Click Apply.

  5. If the brief is an internal submission:

    • Pick a track from your Library, or upload a new one.

    • Confirm the track details and submit.

    • You'll see a green Submission confirmed message at the top of the brief.

  6. If the brief is external, a new tab opens to the partner's application form. Fill that in directly on their site.

  7. Track which opportunities you've entered by re-opening the brief — your submission appears in the feed if the partner has chosen to make submissions public.

Why it works this way

Briefs come from different partners with different rules. Some want to review submissions inside Collabhouse so they can listen and shortlist in one place — that's the in-app Apply flow. Others run their own intake (a Google Form, their own site, a label A&R inbox) and we just send you there. Either way, you only ever apply once per brief unless the rules explicitly allow multiple entries.

You'll typically get up to 3 track submissions per brief that supports internal applications, so you can enter your best work without picking just one.

Common problems

  • Apply button is disabled — the brief is closed, you've used all your submissions, or your track doesn't meet the format requirements. Re-read the Requirements panel.

  • "Always open" tag on a brief — there's no fixed deadline; submissions stay open until the partner closes the campaign.

  • Past Campaigns section at the bottom — these are closed briefs kept visible for reference. You can't submit, but you can see who won.

  • Opportunities isn't in my side menu — your current plan doesn't include it. See the article on locked features.
