For: Releasing artists (RA) and label managers (LM) on a plan that includes Ads You'll need: A personal Facebook account, a Facebook Page linked to your Instagram Business Account, and admin access to an ad account Time: 5–10 minutes
Connecting Meta lets Collabhouse launch and manage Instagram ad campaigns on your behalf. You do this once, in Settings → Integrations, and then configure which ad account and Page to use.
Quick answer
Open Settings → Integrations, click Connect on the Facebook / Meta card, and sign in with Facebook. After the connection succeeds, go to Ads → Settings and pick the ad account, the Facebook Page, and confirm the linked Instagram Business Account. You only ever need to do this once per workspace, but you may be asked to reconnect every 60 days.
Step-by-step
Open the side menu and go to Settings → Integrations.
On the Facebook / Meta card, click Connect.
A Facebook window opens. Sign in and approve the permissions Collabhouse asks for. Keep all boxes checked — unchecking any of them will break ad creation.
When you're returned to Collabhouse, you'll see a confirmation that your connection is valid for 60 days.
Click Ad Settings on the integration card (or go to Ads → Settings).
Pick an Ad Account. This is the Meta ad account that will be billed for your ads. You must have admin access to it.
Pick the Facebook Page that's linked to your Instagram Business Account. Collabhouse will run ads on Instagram only, but Meta requires a Page to be attached.
Confirm the Instagram account shown is the one you want to advertise from.
Why it works this way
Meta requires every Instagram ad to be associated with a Facebook Page and an ad account that's set up for billing. The 60-day expiry on your connection is a Meta security policy — when it's close to expiring, you'll see a banner in Ads → Settings asking you to reconnect, and your existing campaigns keep running in the meantime. If your connection fully expires, new campaigns can't be created until you reconnect.
Common problems
"Connect" button does nothing — disable any ad blockers or pop-up blockers for the Collabhouse site and try again.
"You need to connect your Meta account first" on Ad Settings — the OAuth step didn't complete. Go back to Settings → Integrations and click Connect once more.
No ad accounts in the dropdown — your Facebook user isn't an admin on any ad account, or you unchecked permissions during sign-in. Disconnect, reconnect, and approve all permissions.
No Facebook Pages listed — you need a Page that's linked to an Instagram Business Account. Create or convert one in Facebook first.
"Token expired" badge — click Reconnect and sign in again. Existing campaigns continue running.
