For: New artists (NA), releasing artists (RA), and label managers (LM) You'll need: The files you want to upload — audio masters, artwork, promo videos, or text notes Time: 2 minutes per upload batch
Quick answer
Open Library from the side menu. Pick a tab — Images, Tracks, or Videos — and drop files in, or use the + button. Notes are created from the same + menu and live alongside everything else. Anything you upload is private to you until you share it.
Step-by-step
Go to Library in the side menu.
Pick the tab that matches what you're uploading:
Images — cover art, press shots, social cards
Tracks — audio files (WAV recommended for masters)
Videos — music videos, behind-the-scenes clips, vertical promo cuts
Click the + button (top-right on desktop, floating button on mobile) and choose Upload or Create note.
Select one or more files. Uploads start immediately and you'll see them appear in the tab.
To add detail, click the three-dot menu on any item and pick Edit. You can rename, add a description, and add tags.
Switch between grid and list views from the toolbar — list view is best when you want to read filenames and dates at a glance.
To find something later, type into the search bar at the top of the tab. Search matches the title, description, filename, and tags.
How tracks are organized
When you submit a release, the tracks you uploaded for that release show up automatically on the Tracks tab, grouped under the release title. Audio files you upload to the Library that aren't tied to a release appear under Individual tracks.
Use the folder-tree / list toggle near the search bar to switch between the grouped view (tracks bundled under their release) and a flat list of every track.
Notes
Notes are short text documents — useful for lyrics, session notes, songwriter credits, or a brief you want to attach to a project. Create one from the + menu, give it a title, paste in the content, and save. Notes support tags just like media files.
Common problems
Audio file rejected on upload — Collabhouse checks audio files before saving. Make sure your file is a real audio file (WAV, FLAC, or MP3) and isn't corrupted. The error message will tell you what's wrong.
My image won't open / shows a broken icon — The file might still be processing. Refresh the page after a few seconds.
Upload stalls or fails halfway — Check your internet connection and try again. Very large files (over a few hundred MB) take longer; don't close the tab while the progress indicator is moving.
I can't find a file I uploaded last week — Use the search bar. If you remember the tag, search by tag. If you uploaded it under a different tab (e.g. a video that came in as an image), check the other tabs.
