For: Anyone (NA / RA / EA / LM) staring at a broken page, a 404, or a spinner that won't stop You'll need: Nothing. We'll start with the basics. Time: 2 minutes

Most loading problems are fixed by a refresh or a fresh sign-in. The rest are caused by a stale browser cache or — rarely — a temporary outage on our side.

Quick answer

Refresh the page (Cmd/Ctrl + R). If that doesn't help, try a hard refresh (Cmd/Ctrl + Shift + R) to bypass cache. Still broken? Sign out, sign back in. If multiple pages misbehave at once, it's likely on our side — check the status page.

The four-step fix

  1. Refresh. The simplest one works surprisingly often.

  2. Hard refresh. Cmd + Shift + R on Mac, Ctrl + Shift + R on Windows/Linux. This forces the browser to pull the latest version instead of using a cached copy. Cached old code is the single most common cause of "this page used to work".

  3. Check your sign-in. If the page expects you to be signed in and your session expired, you may see blank content or a redirect loop. Sign out from the menu, sign back in, then revisit the page.

  4. Check the status page. If steps 1–3 didn't fix it and other Collabhouse pages also act up, we may be in a partial outage. [TODO: confirm status page URL].

"Page not found" (404)

If you landed on a page that says Oops! Page not found, you've followed a link to a route that doesn't exist anymore. Common causes:

  • An old bookmark from before a page was renamed or removed.

  • A typo in a URL you typed.

  • A link from outside Collabhouse that includes extra characters.

Click Return to Home and navigate to where you wanted to go from the menu. If you arrived here from a Collabhouse email or in-app link, send the link to support so we can fix it.

Symptom → cause → fix

  • Spinner never stops — usually a slow network or a stuck cache. Hard refresh first; then try a different network if you can.

  • Page loads but parts are blank — your browser is using a partial cached version. Hard refresh.

  • You're redirected to sign-in even though you signed in — your session expired. Sign in again. If it loops, clear cookies for the Collabhouse domain.

  • Error message you don't recognize — screenshot it and send to support. The exact wording helps us trace what happened.

  • Works in one browser, not another — usually a browser extension (ad-blocker, privacy extension) interfering. Try the page in a private/incognito window.

When to contact support

  • Multiple pages are broken at the same time and the status page is green.

  • You see the same error every time after a hard refresh, sign-out, and sign-in.

  • A specific action (Submit, Save, Withdraw) fails repeatedly while the rest of the app works.

Include: what you were trying to do, the page URL, the exact error message, and your browser + operating system.
